Financial Aid
Student Financial Services, P.E.I.
Administered by Prince Edward Island's Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, the Student Financial Services division helps eligible P.E.I. residents with the cost of their post-secondary education. Whether planning to attend a college, university, university-college, public institute or private training school, students have access to loans, grants, bursaries, scholarships and special programs.
Most of P.E.I.'s student financial programs are based on need, providing assistance when students and their immediate families do not have the resources to meet the costs of full- or part-time education and basic living expenses.
The Student Financial Services division administers programs on behalf of the Government of P.E.I. and of Canada, including Canada Student Loans, Canada Study Grants, Canada Access Grants and the Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation awards.
